1. Are there any curtains that block the sun?
Ans. There are several curtains that can block the direct rays of the sun. If you are trying to keep the room moody and dark, choose fabrics that will do the job for you. Thick fabrics like velvet, silk etc help keep the harsh rays of the sun out.

2. What curtains are in style now? What color curtains look good?
Ans. Curtains that are in light fabrics with tone on tone embroidery almost never go out of style. These should be in light cotton or linen fabrics with nice motifs that create a talking point in any room.

3. Are the curtains machine washable?
Ans. It depends on the instructions given on the curtain label. One must be aware and careful of the washing instructions before going forward with the same as if not done correctly, it could ruin the curtains completely.
